Eligible small and medium sized businesses that suffer significant loss of income or have been forced to close as a result of the restrictions will be able to access a one-off cash grant of $3,000 for employing business or $1,000 for non-employing businesses.
Businesses must meet all of the eligibility criteria as at 12:01 Tuesday 20 July 2021:
To be eligible for the $1,000 grant, non-employing businesses must meet all of the above criteria excluding the requirement to employ people.
Funding will be restricted to one grant for non-employing businesses controlled by one individual, company, partnership or trustee.
Businesses will not need to provide supporting information at the time of application, just a declaration only, but must retain relevant documentation to support their application for at least 12 months so that it could be made available for audit and compliance purposes.
